I was watching the U.S. Open Tennis yesterday and learned that Janko Tipsarević had tattooed on his arm a quote from Dostoyevsky – “Beauty Will Save the World”. It was tattooed in Japanese, to make it even more beautiful. Up to that very moment my favorite tennis player had been someone else. Needless to say, since I grew up on The Brothers K, Notes from the Underground, The Idiot etc Tipsarevich is number one in my book after that.
